Your Vision
By the time you are looking to contact a builder, you will have a vision of your home, extension or renovation. It may be an unclear picture of an extra family space or a vivid image of your new home. Mynard Homes can take your vision and develop it, with you, into a living reality.

Concept/Budget
After we have met with you to discuss your project, concept drawings are developed. Concept drawings are drafted plans that give you a basic picture on paper, without going to the expense of full working drawings. At the same time we can give you ideas about budgeting for your project. A ballpark price can be given at this stage, which helps you to balance the concept and the budget.

Working Drawings
Once the concept and budget have been decided, working drawings need to be prepared for a building surveyor to issue a building permit. These working drawings have all the information required to move forward with your project, including engineer's requirements if necessary.

Pricing
Working drawings provide the basis of the fixed price quote that we will offer to you. We prepare a detailed quote with everything included being written in, so there is no confusion about the end result.

Acceptance
After looking through the quote, if it meets your expectations and you want to continue with Mynard Homes, you can accept the quote and a start date can be forecast.

Contract
A building contract is drafted and signed by both parties. Mynard Homes uses a Plain English Contract, which is easy to understand.

Permits
A Planning Permit (if required) and a Building Permit is then obtained, as well as any other permits or requirements.

Start
Mynard Homes will set a start date with you and that is when construction will commence.

Building Works
As your project commences and continues, we will continually communicate with you. If you are extending, we understand you may still need or want to live in your house. Mynard Homes and it's staff will work hard to minimize the disruption to your life and family during the building process. We use trades who have worked with many years with us, so you will find them helpful and experts in their field.

Completion
Mynard Homes sets a completion date which is important to us, as we understand things like rent, storage of belongings and expectations of completion are important to you.
